Jessica Carter, MS, RD, CDCES, IFMCP, ERYT-200 is a licensed dietitian, certified functional medicine practitioner, and experienced yoga teacher with over a decade of experience advancing systems-based, personalized care through clinical practice, strategic partnerships, and organizational leadership. As Industry Collaboration Strategist at OvationLab, Jessica helps health and wellness companies translate emerging science into meaningful practitioner engagement, educational initiatives, and adoption strategies rooted in clinical relevance and human-centered implementation. She is recognized for her ability to connect dots across disciplines, oversee large-scale operations, and cultivate strong relationships among partners, teams, and key opinion leaders to drive alignment and impact. Jessica is currently pursuing a PhD in Integrative and Functional Nutrition at Saybrook University, where her research explores how action research can improve food allergy preparedness and policy among school personnel. She also teaches as adjunct faculty at Unitek and previously served as a nutrition instructor at Bemidji State University. As founder of Core Health Nutrition & Yoga, she integrates functional nutrition and therapeutic yoga to support whole-person health—an approach that informs her broader work in bridging evidence-based science with practical, embodied strategies for clinicians and patients alike. Her background as Clinical Lead in partnerships at The Institute for Functional Medicine sharpened her expertise in curriculum design, clinician training, and stakeholder alignment.
